Course Description

In this course, you will learn important concepts for secure Python scripting, including validating command-line parameters, using quotation marks correctly, techniques for error and exception handling, using unmask to set default file permissions, protecting files, canonicalizing paths, avoiding uncontrolled format string vulnerabilities, preventing or mitigating several common injection vulnerabilities, defending against Regular Expression Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, and protecting sensitive data in transit.
