Course Description

This course provides an in-depth presentation of the capabilities of MS Windows Server Operating System. Topics include protocol configuration, name resolution, network services, remote access, routing, and security. The course provides a foundation that maybe useful for Microsoft Certification, but is not keyed to a particular Microsoft Exam.

Learning Objectives

  • Implement, manage, and maintain Internet Protocol (IP) Addressing. (Program Goals 2 & 3),
  • Install and manage the Domain Name System (DNS). (Program Goal 3),
  • Implement and monitor network security. (Program Goal 3),
  • Configure and Manage routing and remote access. (Program Goal 2)
