Course Description

In this 22-video course, learners discover how Azure AD serves as a central cloud-based identity provider. Examine creating and managing Azure AD users with graphical user interface (GUI) and command-line tools, and how to enable multifactor authentication (MFA). This course is one of several courses preparing learners for AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator certification exam. Key concepts covered here include the role Azure AD plays in cloud authentication; how to use the portal to explore Azure AD; and how to use command-line interface (CLI) to navigate between Azure AD tenants. Next, learn how to use PowerShell to navigate Azure AD; manage Azure AD guest user accounts; and create Azure AD users through bulk create. Learn how MFA hardens user sign-in security, then how to enable and test Azure AD user MFA, enable users to reset their own passwords, and restore deleted Azure AD users. Assign licenses to users; configure banned passwords; and add Azure AD licensed features. Finally, assign an existing Azure subscription to a different Azure AD tenant; and configure Azure AD smart lockout feature.
