Course Description

Explore cloud migration strategies, tools, and services involving Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as how to migrate critical services and implement end-to-end migration of enterprise applications. The key concepts in this course include phases involved in migrating existing applications to the cloud; migration tools and services provided by AWS; and essential features provided by AWS DirectConnect to connect and transfer critical data from an on-premises environment to the cloud. Next, survey steps involved in migrating e-mail services to AWS; how to migrate Domain Name System (DNS) from GoDaddy to AWS Route 53; and how to migrate single-tier applications to AWS with rebuild and rearchitect approaches. You will learn how to migrate multi-tier applications to AWS with the refactor and rehost approaches; end-to-end migration of web enterprise applications from an on-premises environment to AWS; and how to migrate services from ECS containers to AWS Fargate. Finally, learn how to migrate e-mail services to AWS, enterprise applications to AWS, and services from Elastic Container Service (ECS) containers to AWS Fargate.
