Course Description

This is an intense, 2-day Microsoft Official Instructor-Led Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Course. The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Boot Camp is designed to introduce you to the principles of cloud computing and more specifically how these principles have been implemented in Microsoft Azure. This course will also teach you how to implement the core Azure infrastructure, consisting of virtual networks and storage. With this foundation, students will learn how to create the most common Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Web Apps, Azure SQL Database, describing features of Azure AD and methods of integrating it with on-premises Active Directory. This boot camp is geared for the Government, Military and Contractors seeking 8570 compliance. Classes are scheduled across the USA and also live online.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Training Course, you will demonstrate competence and learn to master:

  • describing cloud computing, Azure, and Azure subscriptions
  • using Azure PowerShell, the Azure Software Development Kit (SDK), and the Azure command-line interface (CLI) to manage Azure subscriptions
  • creating and configuring virtual machines in Azure, and manage their disks
  • creating, configure, and monitor web apps in Azure and deploy Azure platform as a service (PaaS) cloud services
  • creating and configuring Azure virtual networks
  • creating, managing, and configuring cloud storage in Azure
  • using Azure SQL Database to create, configure, and manage SQL databases
  • creating and managing Azure AD
