Course Description

In this 13-video course, learners can explore numerous, built-in backup and recovery tools in Windows 10, along with techniques for troubleshooting the boot process. Key concepts covered here include how to use backup and restore feature in Windows 10; learning to restore deleted files or folders in OneDrive; and resetting a PC in Windows 10. Learn where and how to perform a system restore in Windows 10; use a recovery drive to restore or reset a PC in Windows 10; and revert to a previous version of Windows 10. Then examine troubleshoot startup and boot issues in Windows 10; explore Windows Recovery Environment; and how to use Windows 10 Secure Boot feature designed to help protect computers at the earliest stages of booting. You will see how to enable the boot log feature in Windows 10 and how to use startup repair to fix boot problems in Windows 10. The course concludes with a practice exercise on restoring files, reverting to earlier Windows versions, enabling boot log, and using Startup Repair tool in Windows 10. This is one course in a series to help learners prepare for the MD-100: Windows 10 certification exam.
