Course Description

In this course, you'll review key terminology that you need to understand to work with vSphere Storage. You'll learn about storage protocols and storage device types you should be aware of in order to deploy and use storage mechanisms with vCenter. You'll examine how to configure and use an iSCSI software adapter to mount an iSCSI backed storage target from an ESXi host using the vSphere Client. Next, you'll look at how to create and manage VMFS datastores, including how to create and manage a VMFS datastore using the vSphere Client from within the vCenter Server Appliance. You'll also learn how to create and manage NFS datastores. This course is one in a series that helps prepare learners for the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2021 (VCP-DCV 2021) exam.
