Course Description

In this course, you'll learn how to create and provision a virtual machine using the Host Client and review how to create and configure a Windows 10 VM. You'll explore the importance of installing and using VMware Tools on all of the VMs in your organization and learn how to install the VMware Tools and ensure they are operating properly. Next, you'll examine all the files that make up a VM and the purpose of each file type. Finally, you'll learn about containers, the purpose of each of their components, and how they all work together to provide containerized services for vSphere7. This course is one in a series that helps prepare learners for the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2021 (VCP-DCV 2021) exam.
