Course Description

Discover how Scrum is applied to the Agile software project management approach, and explore the aspects of Agile, Scrum, and Lean and how they fit into the Agile mindset. In this 9-video course, learners will examine how Agile differs from traditional project management, the basics of Scrum, and the relationship between Scrum and both Agile and Lean. Common misconceptions about Scrum are also covered. Key concepts covered in this course include the strengths of Agile, Scrum, and Lean and how they relate to each other; comparing and contrasting Agile principles to traditional project management concepts; and learning the importance of adopting an Agile mindset to transition to Scrum. Explore the need to embrace an Agile mindset for transitioning to Scrum; compare and contrast Scrum to Agile; compare Scrum to Lean; and learn the basic concepts of Scrum and common misconceptions about Scrum, including how Scrum projects are often tracked and managed more accurately than other projects.
