Course Description

Explore reasons why an organization should consider scaling their Scrum process, including guidelines to follow and challenges they may encounter when adopting scaling, in this 14-video course. Scaling is used to increase work on a product backlog by adding Scrum teams, and to align more than one Scrum team on a project. The course discusses best practices and guidelines to use when scaling, and examines several models for scaling the Scrum process and their characteristics. Learners will examine the limitations of the Agile Manifesto in comparison to Scrum. The course examines the characteristics, benefits, and challenges of using several different frameworks, depending on size of the project and organization. You will explore the characteristics, benefits, and challenges of the following frameworks: LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum), Nexus, Scrum at Scale, Spotify, Scrum of Scrums, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and the Spotify framework. Finally, you will learn how to select the best framework to meet organizational needs.
