Course Description

Because virtual machines provide the underlying compute power for Azure workloads, knowing how to securely and efficiently manage VMs serves the best interests of cloud customers. In this course, you'll explore how to deploy, connect to, and manage VMs. You'll learn to deploy Windows and Linux VMs using the portal, PowerShell and the CLI. Next, you'll examine how to enable Linux SSH public key authentication and resize a VM. Lastly, you'll learn how to create disks and attach them to VMs, enable VM disk encryption, and deploy a virtual machine scale set. This course is one of a collection of courses that prepares learners for the AZ-303: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification exam.
