Course Description

Learners can explore architecting solutions using Azure resource configurations, and how to match them to business needs, in this 13-video course preparing for the AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification exam. First, you will learn to deploy and configure Linux VMs (virtual machines) by using the portal and command-line tools, and then how to create a load balancer. The course then examines how to create and assign VM public IP addresses, and how to configure VM replication and scale sets. Learners will watch demonstrations of how to use PowerShell to automate the deployment of Linux VMs in the Azure Cloud. You will learn to deploy Azure SQL databases, and to configure backup retention, and to configure Azure SQL point-in-time restore backup retention settings. Next, learn to configure VNet Peering to connect two virtual networks in the same region. Finally, you will learn how to enable file backup to the Azure Cloud and how to configure VM security options.
