Course Description

In this course, learners discover how to apply knowledge of Azure storage solutions such as storage accounts, NoSQL storage, replication, file shares, databases, and data warehousing to address business needs, in preparation for AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design certification exam. Begin this 20-video course by learning how to map Azure storage solutions to business needs, and then create a storage account via the Azure portal and via Visual Studio. Explore how to create containers and upload a blog via Azure port and control access to storage accounts; then look at Azure file share configuration by enabling cloud-based file shares. Discover how to create a shared access signature; map a drive letter to Azure file share; mount a remove Azure file share in Linux, and enable file synchronization between on-premises servers and Azure. Delve into Azure Storage Explorer; Azure database planning; deploying Azure SQL database; and deploying Azure table storage. Switch replication strategy via Azure portal and via command-line tools. Finally, learn about data warehousing and Azure storage analytics. The exercise involves planning Azure storage.
