Course Description

In this 11-video course, learners will discover how to apply Azure knowledge to address specific business IT scenarios, including Azure storage, compute, network, web application, and high-availability solutions, while preparing for AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design certification exam. Key concepts covered here include how to match storage account replication to business needs; how to plan Shared Access Signature (SAS) and storage account encryption which can limit access to various storage accounts; and how to match Azure Compute sizing to business needs. You will also learn how to match Azure Network Services to business needs; how to plan Azure VM resiliency and confidentiality; and how to design VM scaling and SQL backup. Next, learn to run VM failover test and backup on-premises files to Azure; learn to deploy a web app and configure custom domains; and learn how to configure web app deployment slots and content delivery networks (CDNs) to be able to test a web app with zero downtime for the app. Finally, plan Azure storage and compute on the basis of business requirements.
