Course Description

Discover how to plan the migration of on-premises compute, data, and network resources to the Azure cloud while maintaining regulatory compliance in this 10-video course, preparing learners for AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design certification exam. In the first tutorial, learners will observe how to design a migration plan from on-premises to Azure, then recall how the Azure Import-Export service works. You will discover how to install the Azure Import/Export tool and how to create an Azure import job. When talking about software development and testing, especially in a cloud environment, you need to plan when to use Azure containers, so this will also be examined. Then explore how to assess on-premises items such as servers and databases in preparation for Azure migration. In the final tutorial, you will learn how to use Azure data box offline migration. In the concluding exercise, learners will describe the Azure Data Migration Assistant and the benefits of containerized applications, and will create an Azure import job and export job.
