Course Description

Continue preparing for the AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design certification exam with this 10-video course exploring how to apply knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD) roles and privileged identity management to specific scenarios. Learners begin by exploring the various roles specific to Azure AD and then take a look at how Azure AD privileged identity management can control resource access. Next, you will discover how to use the Azure portal to enable an administrator role and also how to enable privileged identity management. The next tutorial explores Open Authorization, an HTTP-based authorization protocol framework known as OAuth, and when to use it. You will also take a look at OpenID Connect authentication and when to use it. Finally, learn about the REST API (Representational State Transfer application programming interface) for Azure, and how it is used. In the course's final tutorial, you will learn how to generate a shared-access signature (SAS) token. The concluding exercise involves planning AD permissions.
