Course Description

Discover how to effectively monitor your Azure deployments. In this 13-video course, one of several preparing learners for the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator certification exam, you will explore individual and centralized resource logging and performance monitoring, log querying, dashboards, alert notifications and application insight. Learn the various ways in which Azure resources can be monitored. Key concepts covered here include the various ways in which Azure resources can be monitored and how to monitor individual resources by examining logs and metrics; how to deploy a Log Analytics workspace; and how to configure Log Analytics Workspace data sources for centralized monitoring. Next, learn how to create a log query and save a query to a dashboard; learn to analyze performance metrics within and across subscriptions; and learn to create an actions group for alert notifications. Finally, learn how to enable Application Insights; and use Network Performance Monitor and Network Watcher to troubleshoot cloud network issues.
