Course Description

Discover how to create, modify, save, and deploy Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and hard disk templates, in preparation for the Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) exam, in this 10-video course. ARM is the new method of managing related Azure resources together as a single unit. Begin the course by learning how to create Azure Resource Manager templates by using the Azure portal, and also by using Visual Studio, which is an integrated development environment. Then discover how to modify an Azure Resource Manager template, and configure an ARM template to use an existing virtual hard disk. Next, learn how to deploy resources from an ARM template by using the Azure portal, using Azure PowerShell, and using Azure CLI (command-line interface). The final tutorial in the course demonstrates how to save deployment as an ARM template. The exercise involves describing ARM templates, listing ARM template deployment methods, creating an ARM template using Visual Studio, and deploying a template by using Microsoft PowerShell.
