Course Description

In this course, learners can examine Azure policies, including resource group policies, Active Directory (AD) policies, and backup policies, in preparation for the Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) exam. Begin this 14-video course with a look at the definitions, assignments, and parameters of Azure policies. This leads onto assigning Azure policies for an Azure subscription and assigning policies for your resource group. You will explore how to identify noncompliant resources by creating a policy assignment with Azure PowerShell, and also by using a template. Then learn about creating custom policies and assigning a custom policy by using the Azure portal. You will discover how to manage Azure policies and assignments using the portal; create an Azure AD Identity Protection resource; configure a multifactor authentication (MFA) registration policy; configure a user risk policy, and configure a baseline policy. The concluding exercise involves defining the purpose of Microsoft Azure policies, assigning built-in policies using the portal and PowerShell, and enabling admin account MFA through a baseline policy.
