Course Description

In this course, explore virtual network monitoring (VNM) solutions and troubleshooting in preparation for the Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) exam. Begin this 8-video course by learning how to set up a Network Performance Monitor (NPM) Log Analytics workspace and then install and configure the OMS (order management system) agent for an on-premises Windows server. Next, you will install and configure the OMS agent for an Azure Windows virtual machine (VM). You will discover how to use Service Connectivity Monitor to monitor on-premises network connectivity and also use Service Connectivity Monitor to create alerts. The Azure portal has a particular built-in tool called the Azure Network Watcher, which allows you to look at things such as traffic analytics that are being sent throughout Azure networks through packet captures; it also has the ability to run a few troubleshooting tools and view your network topology, so you will learn how to configure and use Azure Network Watcher. The concluding exercise involves using Azure Network Watcher.
