Course Description

In this 14-video course, explore Azure backup and recovery concepts such as vault creation, backup policies, backing up and replicating virtual machines (VMs), and restoring files and VMs, while preparing for Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) exam. Begin the course with a look at the Azure Backup features and components. Then learn how to create a Recovery Services vault by using the Azure portal, and also using PowerShell. This leads into installing and registering the Microsoft Azure Recovery Services (MARS) agent, and creating a Microsoft Azure backup policy. Next, examine how to perform a backup operation on a Windows machine using the MARS agent. You will then learn how to back up a VM by using the Azure portal, using Azure PowerShell, and using Azure CLI (command-line interface). Learners will explore how to enable Azure VM replication in a secondary region; recover files and folders from an Azure VM backup; and restore Azure VMs by selecting a recovery point stored in the Recovery Services vault. The concluding exercise involves backing up Azure VMs.
