Course Description

In this 12-video course, discover how to create and configure user profiles in Windows 10 and explore concepts such as Enterprise State Roaming, sync settings, and folder redirection, in preparation for Microsoft MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops exam. Begin by learning how to add new users or delete existing users from an Azure Active Directory (AD) organization, leading into adding or changing user profile information. Next, you will explore the assigning of administrator and non-administrator roles to users; assigning or removing licenses by using Azure AD, and enabling Enterprise State Roaming. Examine how to determine the device sync status of devices that have been enabled for Enterprise State Roaming and to recognize how Enterprise State Roaming data are retained. You will learn how to configure Windows settings such as Sync Your Settings; implement folder redirection including OneDrive, and use Group Policy to control OneDrive sync client settings. You will conclude the course by completing an exercise in configuring user profiles, including adding user profile information, assigning licenses, and configuring device sync.
