Course Description

IT professionals in enterprise environments planning for device deployment should be familiar with the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). The Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) is a collection of automation tools and procedures for deploying operating systems to devices. Through this course, learn how to work with the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).

Examine MDT and discover how to prepare for Windows deployments with MDT, manage boot images and OS upgrade packages, and manage applications and drivers. Next, learn how to manage user state, deploy to unknown systems, and deploy Windows 10 with PXE. Finally, work with task sequences, configure customsettings.ini and bootstrap.ini, troubleshoot MDT deployments, and explore the User State Migration Tool (USMT).

This course is part of a series preparing learners for the MD-101: Managing Modern Desktop exam.
