Course Description

In this 12-video course, learners will discover how to evaluate and select deployment options and pilot deployments, and how to manage and troubleshoot provisioning packages in Windows 10. This course can be used as part of preparation for the MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops certification exam. Begin the course with a look at options in a new category of deployment for Windows 10, modern deployments, and another type of deployment, dynamic provisioning. You will then explore some of the more traditional deployment options. Next, take a closer look at Windows 10 subscription activation and learn when to use Azure Active Directory integration with Mobile Device Management. Then examine some of the key benefits and features of provisioning packages in Windows 10. Discover how to install Windows Configuration Designer, create and apply a provisioning package for Windows 10, and how to remove a previous applied provisioning package from a computer. Finally, examine User Experience Virtualization. The concluding exercise involves deploying Windows 10 by using traditional deployment options and provisioning packages.
