Course Description

Device profiles are used to push preconfigured settings to devices in an organization. In this 13-video course, learners discover how to create device profiles and configure settings for the numerous profile types in Windows 10. Begin with an introduction to device configuration profiles and some of the requirements, and then learn how to create a device configuration profile in the Azure portal. This leads into assigning a scope tag to a configuration profile. Next, take a look at refresh cycle times used by Intune to check for updates, and learn how to configure device restriction settings in Intune. Then explore how to add e-mail settings to devices with Intune; add and use Wi-Fi settings on your devices in Intune; upgrade Windows 10 editions on devices with Intune, and configure Endpoint Protection for devices in Intune. Continue by examining how to configure devices using Administrative Templates and finally, monitoring device profiles in Intune. The closing exercise involves creating a device restriction, Wi-Fi, and Edition Upgrade configuration profile, and assigning and monitoring a configuration profile. This is one course in a series to prepare for the MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops certification exam.
