Course Description

Conditional access is a feature used to block or allow access to content based on certain requirements. In this 13-video course, learners explore conditional access benefits, as well as compliance features used to ensure devices comply with policy rules. Start off with a look at conditional access in Azure Active Directory (AD) and the common scenarios, then examine and create conditional access policies. Next, learn how to enable a baseline policy in the Azure portal, and how to navigate to and describe available conditions such as users and groups, cloud apps and actions, and sign-in risk. Learn about grant controls, and how to block or allow access with grant controls. Explore the concept of compliance, and discover how to create a conditional access policy with the Intune portal. Then discover how to create a device compliance policy, and how to add actions to noncompliant devices in Intune. Finally, examine how to monitor Intune device compliance policies. The concluding exercise involves working with conditional access features such as policies, conditions, and grant controls. This is one course in a series to prepare for the MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops certification exam.
