Course Description

In this challenge lab, you will manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for Windows systems. You need to implement system configurations and enforce restrictions by using Group Policy. First, you will create an organizational unit (OU), and then you will manage OU membership. Next, you will create and link a GPO to the OU, and then you define settings in the GPO. Next, you will display applied GPOs and their relative settings, and then you will create a local Group Policy to restrict access to the Registry Editor and Control Panel for all non-administrative users. Next, you will create logon and logoff scripts, and then you will configure a GPO to deploy the logon and logoff scripts. Finally, you will test and troubleshoot the scripts. Note: Once you begin the challenge lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your challenge lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge lab before you start.
