In this challenge lab, you will manage storage encryption using Encrypting File System (EFS) and BitLocker, as well as support encrypted file transfers by using Secure Shell (SSH). First, you will configure an EFS Recovery Agent on a Windows 10 virtual machine, and then you will encrypt files by using EFS. Next, you will break a user account’s ability to access their own EFS-encrypted files, and then you will use a Data Recovery Agent (DRA) to recover access to EFS encrypted files. Next, you will implement BitLocker on a Windows 10 data drive, and then you will disable BitLocker on a Windows 10 data drive. Finally, you will use SSH to transfer files through an encrypted communication session. Note: Once you begin the challenge lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your challenge lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge lab before you start.
