Course Description

Explore practical migration scenarios involving MongoDB to Cosmos DB, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and network workloads to Microsoft Azure. In this cloud migration course, discover how to work with Azure Migrate, and how to troubleshoot, secure, and manage cloud migration logs. Key concepts covered in this course include: practical migration scenarios of MongoDB to Azure Cosmos DB using DMS and the types of migration that can be configured; security recommendations that should be applied when working with Azure Security Center, a unified infrastructure security management system; and best practices used for setting up virtual networks and to help migrate business elements to the cloud. You will learn how to use Azure Migrate features and common issues of Azure Migration and approaches for troubleshooting them, including bandwidth issues, compatibility, portability or unsupported boot types or operating systems. Finally, study the types of Azure logs and their relevance in cloud migration, and the Azure Migrate features: migrate MongoDB to Azure Cosmos DB, and migrate SSIS to Azure.
