In this course, key concepts include: using Microsoft Data Migration Assistant to upgrade to a modern data platform; how to migrate an Azure VM to another region; and benefits of migrating IaaS to Azure Resource Manager. Learn to recognize scenarios where IaaS resources can be migrated from Classic Azure to Azure Resource Manager; to migrate VMs in a virtual network; and to migrate storage accounts. Then learn to rebuild monolithic applications into containerized microservices; create Azure Resource Manager templates using the Azure Docker extension; and migrate on-premises resources to Azure using ARM templates.
