In this lab, you will configure storage in Windows Server 2016. First, you will configure partitions, volumes, and data deduplication, and then you will configure Storage Spaces by using a storage pool and a virtual disk. Next, you will configure Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) by using locally attached storage on remote servers, and then you will create a Cluster Shared Volume (CSV). Next, you will configure iSCSI storage, and then you will configure shared folders by using Simple Message Block (SMB) and Network File System (NFS). Finally, you will deploy Windows Server 2016 Datacenter Server Core manually, and then you will create a deployment image for automated deployments by using the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
