Course Description

In this course, you'll learn about characteristics of the Embedded Event Manager in an NX-OS context. You'll explore uses of the Scheduler for routine maintenance tasks that you need to perform on data center equipment. Next, you'll examine the different options for user interfaces on the Cisco Nexus equipment and how you can enable them. You'll learn about system differences between JSON and XML, as well as about the automation features of Ansible and Puppet. Next, you'll learn about the ease of programmability of Python with the Cisco Data Center portfolio. You'll explore how PowerOn Auto Provisioning allows you to automate software upgrades, as well as configuration when a new Cisco Nexus device joins the network. Finally, you'll learn about features of the Data Center Network Manager and the UCS Director products.
