Course Description

Learners explore how to manage mobile devices, including configuring mobile device mailbox policies and managing mobile device access, in this 16-video course preparing for the MS-200 Planning and Configuring a Messaging Platform certification exam. Begin by examining mobile device support for ActiveSync and device security settings. After reviewing Exchange ActiveSync features, learn how to manage ActiveSync configuration; enable or disable access to mailboxes using Exchange ActiveSync; and configure default access and quarantine notification settings for Exchange ActiveSync. Next, learn how to block use of Outlook for iOS and Android, and watch a demonstration of configuring a device access rule to enable it. See how to allow or block devices quarantined based on the ActiveSync configuration, and use the Exchange admin center (EAC) to remotely wipe a device. After an overview of mobile device mailbox policies, learn to use the EAC to configure a mobile device mailbox policy, and assign a policy to specific mailboxes. Finally, learn how security and authentication work with Outlook for iOS and Android, and examine PIN lock and encryption features.
