Course Description

In this challenge, you will configure standard Linux permissions to control access to files and directories. First, you will display the default Linux permissions, and then you will configure permissions by using absolute mode. Next, you will configure permissions by using symbolic mode. Finally, you will configure file and directory ownership. Note: Once you begin the challenge lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your challenge lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge lab before you start.
