Course Description

In this Challenge Lab, you will configure Distributed Intrusion Detection to monitor and analyze traffic for suspicious activity. First, you will enable IDS signature auto update to ensure that signature files are regularly updated. Next, you will enable and configure Distributed Intrusion Detection on a vSphere cluster. Finally, you will generate malicious traffic and view the intrusion detection events. Note: Once you begin the Challenge Lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your Challenge Lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the Challenge Lab before you start.
