In this challenge, you will monitor an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instance and generate an email if the instance is stopped. First, you will create a new Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) topic, and then you will create an email subscription. Next, you will create an Amazon EventBridge rule to monitor your EC2 instance for state changes. Finally, you will stop the EC2 instance, and then you will verify that you received an email when the state changed. Note: Once you begin the challenge lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your challenge lab.
