Course Description

Although static routing can work for a smaller network, ultimately, dynamic routing is the way to handle routing. Explore dynamic routing using the RIPv2 protocol over IPv4.

Learning Objectives

CCENT: RIPv2 Configuration

  • configure dynamic routing protocols using RIP v2 for IPv4 by building a routing table
  • configure RIPv2 passive interfaces, loops, and changes to the network topography
  • tuning RIPV2 timing parameters and options
