Course Description

In this challenge lab, you will manage local groups, manage local user accounts, join a computer to a domain, and configure sign in options on a Windows 10 workgroup computer. First, you will create a local group, and then you will manage local group membership. Next, you will configure a new organizational unit to support the use of Group Policy to create a local group. Next, you will use Group Policy preferences to create a new local group that contains a new user account, and then you will perform a Group Policy update to apply the policy. Next, you will configure a custom wallpaper by using local Group Policy. Next, you will join a computer to the domain, and then you will sign in to that computer by using a domain user account. Finally, you will configure Windows 10 to automatically sign in by using a specific user account, and then you will configure Windows 10 to automatically start an application after sign in. Note: Once you begin the challenge lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your challenge lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge lab before you start.
