Course Description

In this Challenge Lab, you need to implement a secure application within a VPC environment. The application will consist of 2 layers, a web server and an application server. You need to implement appropriate security measures using Network ACLs and Security Groups to protect both layers of the application. First, you will create security groups for the web and application layers. Next, you will create a network ACL for the subnets. Then, you will create EC2 instances for the web and application servers. Finally, you will test access to the application through the Network ACL and Security Groups. Note: Once you begin the challenge lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your challenge lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge lab before you start.
