Course Description

In this challenge, you will improve the security posture of your organization. First, you will determine which services are actively responding to network requests. Next, you will configure the service to run on a non-standard port by modifying the service configuration file for the running service. Finally, you will ensure that the root account is not allowed to log in by using a remote connection. Note: Once you begin a challenge you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your progress. Please ensure you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge before you start.
