In this challenge lab, you will implement local Group Policy, troubleshoot Group Policy, and configure various settings via Group Policy on a Windows 10 workgroup computer. First, you will enable an object access policy to audit users access, and then you will configure auditing for a folder. Next, you will create a local Group Policy to restrict access to the Registry Editor and Control Panel for all non-administrative users, and then you will test the policy. Next, you will create an organizational unit (OU), and then you will create and link a Group Policy Object to that OU. Next, you will test and troubleshoot Group Policies by using ant Set of Policy tools. Next, you will configure GPO settings specific to computers and users, and then you will test those settings. Finally, you will add users to an OU, and then you will assign a logon script to a user by using a Group Policy. Note: Once you begin the challenge lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your challenge lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge lab before you start.
