Course Description

In this 13-video course, learners will explore how advanced project data analysis is performed with different methods; strategies for adopting a data-driven mindset; and how to frame a data strategy. In addition, discover common business intelligence applications that can be used to analyze, query, and report data at an organizational level. Begin by learning about the need to revise data analysis methods for business intelligence (BI), and examine BI applications commonly used to analyze and report information. Explore key drivers for an organization to adopt a BI solution; recognize practices for developing a data-driven mindset within an organization; and observe steps involved in planning for BI across the organization. Examine how a data strategy aligns the organization's data-related activities towards providing BI insights; learn to recognize the need to build the best team for successful BI orientation across an organization; and view considerations that pertain to defining key performance indicators (KPIs), for BI-related data analysis. Also learn about Advanced Analytics for BI; telling stories through reports; and guidelines for a successful BI project.
