Course Description

AWS Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) provide virtual network infrastructure for AWS services. VPC subnets are configured with IP address ranges which are then assigned to deployed resources such as Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) instances. VPC settings related to dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) and domain name system (DNS) control specific Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) behavior. Elastic IP addresses can be assigned to EC2 instances to provide public IP addressing.

In this course, discover how VPCs and subnets can address cloud networking needs. Then, create VPCs and subnets using the console, the CLI, and PowerShell. Next, configure VPC DHCP and DNS settings as well as subnet IP addressing. Lastly, create and assign Elastic IP addresses to provide public IP addressing.

This course can be used to prepare for exam SAA-C03, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
