Course Description

Proactive planning goes a long way in minimizing the impact of IT service disruptions. AWS provides methods of ensuring IT service high availability (HA) occurs across a variety of services, data availability, and long-term data retention.

In this course, explore disaster recovery terminology and common strategies. Next, learn about Amazon S3 Glacier for archiving, S3 Cross-Region Replication (CRR), versioning, lifecycle management, and Elastic Block Store (EBS) volume snapshots. Finally, discover how to configure a load balancer to improve application performance and resiliency to failure, configure AWS Backup, and manage database replicas and snapshots.

This course can be used to prepare for exam SAA-C03, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
