Course Description

Explore the key aspects of Amazon Web Services (AWS) architectural design principles beginning with the first root account and identity and access decisions. In this course, you will examine cloud computing virtualization concepts, Virtual Private Cloud (VPCs), Amazon Machine Images (AMIs), and networking design principles. Virtualization is a foundational concept that makes cloud computing possible, the advances in having the ability to have multiple tenants. VPC is a way for you to launch or spin-up AWS resources into your own virtual network in the cloud that you have defined. AMI provides the necessary information and data that you need to launch an instance of an operating system, such as Linux, Ubuntu, or Microsoft Windows. Also, participants will be introduced to networking fundamentals such as virtual network interfaces or a virtual Network Interface Card (NIC) that is assigned. This course is one of a collection of courses that prepares learners for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner 2019 certification.
