Course Description

Preparation for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect-Associate (SAA-C02) certification exam continues with this 18-video course. In this course, participants explore AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), including how to use roles, policies, and multifactor authentication (MFA) to secure accounts and how to use the AWS Directory Service. You will examine the role of IAM in the cloud and how to use the graphical user interface (GUI), the command-line interface (CLI), and PowerShell to manage IAM users. Watch demonstrations of configuring the AWS user password policy and perform an AWS IAM user sign-in. Then learn how to manage IAM groups by using the GUI, CLI, and PowerShell, and how to configure both IAM policies and groups. Examine how MFA can enhance user sign-in security, then learn how to enable MFA for the AWS root account. The course concludes with a study of the AWS Directory Service; how to join an EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instance to AWS Directory Service; and how to create users and groups within an AWS Directory Service.
