In this course we will cover the fundamentals of virtualization and its relationship with operating systems. More specifically, we will cover the common use cases and discuss implementation on the common computing systems used in the industry today.

Learning Objectives

In Virtualization and Operating Systems Fundamentals, the instructor defines the virtualization process, key terms related to its implementation as well as reasons to virtualize. The instructor also provides an overview of the varying types of operating systems present on computing systems used today along with some of their commonalities and differences.
