Course Description

This CompTIA Network+ training class provides the background knowledge and skills required to be successful in job roles that include network installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance as well as prepare candidates to take the CompTIA Network+ certification exam (Exam N10-007).

Learning Objectives

Learn to identify basic network theory concepts and major network communications methods, to describe bounded and unbounded network media, to identify the major types of network implementations and TCP/IP addressing and data delivery methods, and to analyze routing and switching technologies. Learn to identify the components of a TCP/IP implementation, to analyze and implement network security, to identify the components of a WAN implementation, the components used in cloud computing and virtualization and the components of a remote network implementation. Learn to manage networks and to troubleshoot network issues.
