Course Description

A blockchain is a distributed ledger which is copied on multiple nodes that allows an immutable, transparent and cryptographically secure record-keeping of transactions. This technology is the main backbone of cryptocurrencies and have application in various industries such as finance, government, media and almost all other industries. Along with cryptocurrencies, blockchain is also about different technologies such as peer-to-peer networks, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography. These technologies help in creating a trustless environments in which digital value can be transferred between individuals without intermediaries. This course provides a detailed description of this leading technology and its implementation in the real world.
