Course Description

This course will teach you how to avoid the severe consequences of insecure cookie processing. Students will learn how cookies with sensitive data can leak over insecure channels and how the attacker can hijack cookies remotely. Scholars comprehend weaknesses within cookie lifecycles, while viewing one of the most underestimated cookie attacks - XSS via cookie. Upon conclusion of the course, participants understand how attackers tamper with cookies remotely, how to test web applications for various cookie processing flaws, leading to the ability to process cookies securely.
